TV Installation Problems That Will Cost You Money

There are many things you can do to prevent TV installation problems, which in most cases will cost you much more money than if you had just done it the right way. Some of these problems are simple things like improper mounting, whereas others require the services of a professional to fix. If you plan on mounting your TV yourself, here are some things that you can avoid if you do decide to do so yourself. Here are some of the most common TV installation problems that end up costing people lots of money to repair.

One thing that often comes to mind after we are discussing TV installation gone wrong,is that your TV has fallen off the ceiling. One of the biggest causes of this happening is that you didn’t anchor your TV to the ceiling properly or that you did not properly anchor your TV to the ceiling. The first thing you want to do is get a few pieces of heavy duty double-sided tape and wrap the TV in between them and a couple of feet up from the ground. When you lay the tape down, make sure that it doesn’t stick to any part of your TV like the cord or cables. Once you’ve done this, you’ll want to put your TV up on brackets that you’ve secured the cable behind and then connect the cable to the bracket so that your TV will be secured up to the ceiling.

It’s also a bad idea to screw your TV into your ceiling if you want to do it yourself. The reason is that there is no way that the screws will hold up to your ceiling, and they can easily come out when someone is trying to get the TV down to install a new one. Also,if your ceiling has a lot of rafters, you will have to run special screws under each one of those rafters, and then run another set of screws along the inside of each of those rafters. Doing all of this will take up quite a bit of time, and if you’re doing it yourself you may find it very tempting to take shortcuts in order to get it all done quicker.
